Korea hold the 5th ranking in the world PCB market
Korea has kept the 5th ranking in the world PCB market since last year. According to IPC's "World PCB Market Analsys Report" on May 23, the world market had been found the total of 33.236 billion dollars and Korea recorded the total of 1.728 billion dollars and took the 5th ranking(by production standard) with Japan, USA, China and Taiwan above.
In the field of general PCB which made the total of 2.956 billion dolloars, Korea manufactured on the scale of 1.528 billion dollars (5.2%) - Japan 7.978 billion(25.3%), USA 6.248 billion(21.1%), China 3.376 billion dollars (11.4%) and Taiwan 3.098 billion(3.098%) -keeping the 5th ranking as last year.
In the FPCB market which is fast growing with the advanced multi-media machinery and tools such as LCD and mobile phone in the middle, the supply quantity was on the scale of 3.676 billion dollars. And Korea produced about 200 million dollars and occupied 5% of the market taking the 6th ranking. Meawhile, Japan marked 1.114 billion dollars(31%) taking the top manufacturer in the FPCB field, too. USA had produced 929 million dollars(25%), Taiwan 290 million dollars(8%), Thai 280 million(8%) and China 220 million(6%).
In the market of laminate,PCB raw material, Korea manufactured 14,78 million m2 of total 229.96 million m2 and ranked the 4th.
