Daeduck, Daeduck GDS sales income increase in 1st Q'
Daeduck Electronics Co.,Ltd and Daeduck GDS, PCB industries, brought actual results in the 1st quoter as compared with the corresponding period of last year.
On May 28, Daeduck cleared that thet made 69 billion won on sales, 6 billion won on trading profits, 13 billion won on ordinary income and 9 billion won on net profit in the first quater. GDS also found a total of 48.2 billion won on sales, 7 billion won on trading profit, 10 billion won on ordinary income and 7.5 billion won on net profit.
The resulfts has been increased 6.15% and trading profit almost two times as compared with the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary income and net profit made no big difference. They made it clear saying "mobile phone and PCB for communication equipment sales was low in January and Februrary, so the whole sales increased in a narrow range." But they added "Since March, PCB sales for mobile phone has been increasing so it is expected 26 billion won of results in April."
On the one hand, Daeduck GDS made 15.0% increased sales but trading profit rather dicreased 6.6% as compared with last year, ordinary income and net profit are almost same as last year.
Hence the company eclucidated that PCB sales for household electric appliances, TV, PDP, LCD has been increased but since the year of 2000 trading profit has been diminish due to the cost of investment in equipment.
